Marine exploitation and pollution are causing rapid damage to entire marine ecosystems globally, including Australia's largest natural marine asset, the Great Barrier Reef.

This important ecosystem is about to reach the third mass bleaching event in five years due to climate change. Severe bleaching occurred in 2020 in all three sections of the reef. This is the first time this has occurred since mass bleaching was first seen in 1998.

Worldwide damage to our marine ecosystems demands that humanity develop and implement restoration and regeneration solutions now, before it is too late!

If you love what you learn, and we are confident that you will, you will have the opportunity to register for the Certificate III Marine Habitat Conservation and Restoration qualification. All students from this short online course will get a free snorkelling kit!

Classes are 50% theory and 50% outdoors, it is very much hands on, which gives you a great advantage when it comes to employment opportunities!
